In
emails and at meets, please no language that would be offensive to either
gender, or to anyone based on race, ethnicity, faith (or lack of), nationality,
or sexual orientation.
In
emails and at meets, please no angry words. The topic that leaps to
mind is politics. If you can't talk about politics without your blood
pressure going up, or in words that are not degrading to a person of
an opposite persuasion, then please don't talk about politics.
Cigars
and cigarettes leave behind odors that differ from pipe aromas. Therefore,
please do not light a cigar or cigarette at a smoke meet, unless the
person who is hosting the meet wishes to allow it.
You
are welcome to hand out your business card at club meets. We may need
your services someday. Otherwise, please do not solicit members for
direct sales.
