How to Become a Member of Pacifica Pipe Club

Welcome! Thanks for thinking about joining. This club is open to both men and women pipe smokers who live in Pacifica or its environs. It is open to experienced smokers, beginner smokers, and those who would like to learn to smoke a pipe. If you're a pipe smoker, all you need to do is email me that want to join. Please include your first and last name, a name you would prefer to be called, your address, your email address, your phone number, and your occupation. A note about your favorite pipe or tobacco, or your general experience with pipes would also be appreciated. I will then send you a password to access the member list. You will be able to write to any one member, or to all at once. On the member list will be your name, your email address and your occupation—unless you tell me that you do not wish to have that posted. I need your phone number if, for example, a meet is cancelled, and I need to get in touch with you pronto. The general public will not see the member list.

If you want to learn to smoke a pipe, just email me and tell me so, including the same information I have asked for above. I will set up a time at your convenience to have you visit when I will teach you a little about pipes, and start you on the road to helping you buy a good quality middle-grade pipe. Be prepared to spend between $50-$70. Please do not go out and buy a “drugstore” pipe. Its lousy taste will discourage you from pipe smoking. I have pipes I can lend you to practice on at home, and to smoke at meets, until we help you score a good deal.
